I close me eyes, and through the silence surrounding me I think I can sense a ghostly hand on my shoulder, my brother's gentle presence that I'm able to feel every now and then, in these quiet moments. I imagine him smiling down at me, his expression relaxed and free.

 *sighs* Well... another series has ended from my bucket-list which is bittersweet.

I can't believe I finished the series D:. I remember reading the first book of the series when I was in 7th grade! And two years later I have finished the last :(.

This book was mind-blowing, and romantic and JUST AMAZING OKAY? AND let me just say... THE ENDING LITERALLY MADE THIS BOOK THE BEST BOOK EVER?!?!1!11!??!1!

Okay, I'm not gonna go forever fangirling about the ending, but let's just say this was me reading the last chapter:


The ending is now one of my favorite endings EVER. It was so good of an ending that I am adding a new category for "Best-Endings-Ever" on GoodReads. Now some of you may think the ending is horrible or heartbreaking, but seriously?! Now, I'm not gonna put any spoilers, but let's just say that I thought it was a cute ending and totally different and creative! (<---World's biggest understatement)

Now the plot was good! Not every day to I read books of war and dystopia...oh wait I do... but not like that. The only thing that was kind of iffy for me was that it just didn't seem realistic that Africa would have supplies to help the Colonies at war...even fifty years from now :/.

The characters were fantastic, and I loved more new characters like Pascao, the more-mature-Tess, and of course DAY AND JUNE. I'm not a big fan of Anden at all thought; he was just in the way from the Day and June action to be brutally honest. And I'm so happy that Marie Lu made June SMART and LOGICAL throughout the series unlike some authors who make their main character so dumb it kills me. The way Marie Lu describes the relationship with Day and June; how June gets chills when she hears Day's voice or how Day thinks June is the most breathtaking out of everyone, really kept the story going for me.

Idk maybe it was a bit rushed, but overall I thought it was an action-packed and romantic last edition to the series and I am so happy that I got to read the books! And let's be honest here, nothing beats the first book!--even though this book was so good! Like seriously I've never read a book so creative before :O. I can't wait to read more of Marie Lu's books :D.

I feel like Marie Lu likes to kill our hearts.


YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME MARIE LU. YOU CAN'T. I'll just hide in my room and sob until November...


















I actually would've written a reasonable review if the ending didn't tear me apart. You can just delete the last 20 pages or so and everything would be okay, but THIS?! No, okay? This can't be happening.

I can't wait until June and Day get back together, and Kaede comes back to life, and Tess leaves the picture. Until then, leave me be with my bowl of ice cream and tears.

Okay, this book overall was so suspenseful and action packed and romancy and all the good stuff that I like to consume. During Legend and Prodigy, I kept turning each page, hoping to find the answers, and hoping that everything will be ok in the end.

The only difference is that I was perfectly fine with the ending of Legend, and NOT with Prodigy.

June and Day are perfect for each other, and I don't care if any of you protest that because they just are. It's final. June is so kickass, I wish I could be as amazing as her. Unfortunately, I'm not. Day is so hot and unbelievably perfect in my mind, and he's also kickass. The perfect kickass couple.

I HATE you suspenseful book. You twisted my mind. Everything was great in the end, and then some heartless author AKA Marie Lu (Just kidding, I love her) came behind my back and stabbed me until I officially died of my feels... Damn you Prodigy! This next book better have a god damn happy ending!

For starters, this book gave me the chills when June and Day were so in love and then… BAM she puts him in jail and starts beating him up. That just made me sooo sad. In addition, I loved the chemistry between Day and June because it just clicked and I hated it when I read that June did not believe Day when he said he didn’t kill Metias, which I don’t think he did. Then I started smiling all the way till the end when June chose to help Day out. Oh, I’m giving the whole story away! I’m not going to say anything more about the story itself. I loved the idea that it showed in the book about how June and Day are the same people just born through two different worlds. June and Day were both fierce fighters and super smart. I also liked that Marie Lu put the story into two different points in view. Day and June immediately fell in love with each other and I loved seeing it in each other’s point of view. I recommend this book to all young adult readers who love science fiction romance. This book broke my heart, gave me ideas, and most of all made me smile. I give this book a full on...
