Excuse my language, but HOLY. SHIT.

I..I have no words. This book just mentally killed me. Like, I can't even asdfghjkl; I'M DYING

Okay, okay I will try to actually write a decent review right now as my mind is swirling as to what may happen next. First of all, the whole damn plot I loveloveloved. Every plot so far in the Vampire Academy series has been amazing and it keeps getting better as the books continue.

I'm sorry, but I still can't comprehend everything. First with Dimitri and then the Adrian and Rose thing and then....AND THEN THE ENDING with the letter and Abe and I just can't even.

You can kill me right now.

The plot was so engaging just from the beginning where Rose put her earlier plan from the book Blood Promise into action. After that I couldn't even guess at all what would happen next, let alone think that Lissa would do what she did to help Rose out with Dimitri.

Okay that's all I'm going to say because by god I know that I will accidently type a spoiler because it was just that good that I can't help it. Anyway, I'm going off topic. Let's go to the characters...

I freakin love Rose Hathaway she has always been by far the top on my list of fictional role models because of her quick mind and the way she sticks to what she believes in and defends herself and all that...but this book just made me love her even more if that was possible. I literally worship her and my god the events that happened in this book and her actions and just everything...YES.

And Lissa and Christian I love them both hands down...

Adrian...oh Adrian I just love him and he has gotten such a better personality and a more serious tone (well... sometimes) in this book. I really really hope it ends well for him because we all know Rose still has her heart out for Dimitri and through this book I'm like Oh Rose, you are just leading him on and you don't even know it....

And lastly, Dimitri. I really don't want to say any spoilers so I'm just going to say this to all readers who've already read the book: YES.

Okay, I don't want to continue this forever in fear that I'll never stop. So, this was the fifth book in the series and I'm really wary of starting the last book because of the ending of this book and I'm scared for the outcome and because it's the last book in the series and I really don't want it to end for me D,:

Can we also take a moment to realize that the Vampire Academy movie: Blood Sisters is coming out this February?


After Dimitri became strigoi, I can't help but ship Rose and Adrian. I feel like I'm being a traitor towards myself because I used to love Rose and Dimitri, but now I just can't help how freaking amazing Adrian was to Rose.

I admit, towards the middle of the book, I was ripping through the pages just so I could find another Adrian dream. I half hoped Rose would be nice to him in her dreams, but after four books of Rose Hathaway, I knew that would never happen.

Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself here. As much as I loved the Adrian/Rose moments, I didn't think that that was the best part. (or was it ;))

I think the best part was the ending. The brutal twist in the story was at the damn end and now I have to read the next two books to see what could possibly happen. I have mixed feelings for what could happen to Dimitri. I was sad when he supposedly died and I was relieved as well, and I'm not sure about this whole "get information from Viktor Dashkov and find crazy Robert Doru to see if this healing thing works" thing, but we'll see how it goes.

I still can not believe what happened in Russia. All of the wonderful people Rose met, and... especially... that crazy stuff going on with Dimitri._. I'm still shocked that Rose could get so weak, yet it was the damn endorphins that did that to her, and it was all Dimitri's fault which is why I do not ship them anymore. The endorphins-drugged part was probably the worst part in the book--not that it was bad, but because I couldn't contain myself, watching Rose so weak and helpless. Also, Strigoi and Damphir pair just doesn't work out, and let's not even go near the "come be awakened with me" thing Dimitri was letting on. Ugh.

This book was freaking hilarious by the way. I couldn't hold my laughter in most of the time. Richelle Mead puts that awesome 'Rose Hathaway humor' into the book perfectly. I just wish I could crack her jokes and be so badass at the same time. Rose is by far my favorite fictional role model that I look up to. All of the zmey jokes were Rose's best, I must say.

"'Greetings, Zmey,' I said weakly...'Nice of you to slither on in." (P. 431)

(SPOILER QUOTE) "'Please don't tell me Abe is my father..." She didn't have to tell me. It was all over her face, her expression dreamily recalling some other time and place--some time and place that undoubtedly involved my conception. Ugh. 'Oh God,' I said. 'I'm Zmey's daughter. Zmey Junior. Zmeyette, even.' That got her attention. She looked up at me 'What on Earth are you talking about?'" (P. 489)

Anyway, I have to say, Adrian really filled most of those five stars up, including the escape, the ending, Sydney, and Dimitri's family. All in all, what a funny, suspenseful, love-driven story that Rose endured. I can't wait to read the next book this fall (I can't read it right now, or else my love for the series would be short lived!) and I will never forget Rose's amazing journey through Russia. (Next stop, Viktor Dashkov!)

Okay I realized that the star thing (*********blahblahblah*******) doesn't help anything because it makes it stand out more, rather than hide. So I will discontinue that and make it easier for everybody and have no spoilers. Review: Guys, is this bad that I seriously don't know who the guy on the front cover is? It could be Dimitri, or Isiah. Wow I must be dumb lol.

Anyway, I originally wasn't going to do a review on Frostbite, but the ending was phenomenal. It literally ripped my heart in pieces (I cried while reading it :'( ) and wove the pieces back together legit on the last page. But to get this striaght, there was literally not a single boring page in this book.

The mix of the characters' personality were like a sweet drop of sugar on this book; it really halped the book become it's fullest. I say this because of the brave and badass Rose, calm and encouraging Lissa, sweet and rebellious Mason[:'( (hide spoiler)], controlled and powerful
Dimitri, and the list can go on and on.

The plot was alright. It didn't kick up until the last 50 pages or so, but it was still full of emotion which is what I love. Also, the love triangle, or square I should say, with Dimitri, Tasha, Mason, and Rose was just simply amazing. It was pretty suspenseful (yeah, I know, a suspenseful romance :O ) and the last couple of pages made it amazing. I almost cried with happiness hahaha. But surely the next books will screw that up again DX. Anyway, without this lovefest I might've given this book a 2 stars because the romance in this series is more than half of the story.

Loved the past two books and many more to come aha. :P

Review: Great start of a new series that I am DEFINITELY going to read :D! The best part of this book was Rose and her kick-ass attitude. This was also probably one of the first books that literally made me laugh out loud. IT WAS HILARIOUS. That might be over exaggeration, but I was laughing so hard throughout the story. I would put a little funny blurb on the book, but I couldn't find any funny parts right away, and I'm too lazy to look through the book like a usually do, so just read the damn book! :P

Anyway, the whole story plot was well thoughtout. At first I had no idea what they meant by Strigois and Dhampirs and Morois, but as the story went on, I finally started to understand it. HUGE twist in the end :O I'm not even going to talk about it as it will take away too much.
The characters! Rose is definitely my favorite. (as I said in the first paragraph) She's got that bad-ass attitude and she is super funny and can sometimes be reckless. I have to say, I'm nothing like Rose, but I wish I were! Lissa, on the other hand, is usually (not really in the story, but from Rose's perspective :D) calm and collective. She's cautious about everything, which is the opposite from Rose. As the stories rears, though, Rose becomes more and more protective of Lissa, and Lissa becomes a little more reckless. Moving on to Dimitri! Dimitri's the Russian mentor of Rose's and they both start liking each other (like like)even though Dimitri is 7 years older than her. They then realize it couldn't possibly work out since they both gaurd Lissa. BUT I HOPE THERE RELATIONSHIP CONTINUES IN THE NEXT BOOKS! Christian, oh my god I want to marry him! I'm less complicated than Lissa (I hope) and maybe he'll notice me HAHA! I LOVE Christian, but Lissa and Christian are PERFECT for each other in the story :).

This book had me on my toes (is that even an expression? :D) the whole time reading it. The font was actually pretty big so I read it almost in one sitting. (No complaints) I give this book a smacking 4 stars.
