Hana (Delirium #1.5) by Lauren Oliver

Synopsis: "The summer before they're supposed to be cured of the ability to love, best friends Lena and Hana begin to drift apart. While Lena shies away from underground music and parties with boys, Hana jumps at her last chance to experience the forbidden. For her, the summer is full of wild music, dancing—and even her first kiss.
But on the surface, Hana must be a model of perfect behavior. She meets her approved match, Fred Hargrove, and glimpses the safe, comfortable life she’ll have with him once they marry. As the date for her cure draws ever closer, Hana desperately misses Lena, wonders how it feels to truly be in love, and is simultaneously terrified of rebelling and of falling into line."

Review:
What....this book...I need...the SEQUEL!!!!!!

This prequel was absolutely amazing, but my life will be complete only if I read Pandemonuim. I NEED to read it...it's like I have questions that are unanswered and they need to be answered...QUICK! Hana is a quick short story and once I finished Delirium I knew I had to continue with the series. I loved how Oliver made this book quick and short and in Hana's point of view. It made me realize that Lena did not notice some of the things that occurred with Hana while Lena was trying to figure out love. This story helped me learn more about Hana's side of the story which was much more hard for her. In Delirium I thought Hana was just a good friend and went to all the forbidden parties. But, as I read through Hana, I noticed that she had problems of her own that she kept a secret. The ending was the best, yet most twisted ending. The ending answered a question I had in Delirium. Why would Hana do such a thing?! The ending was the reason I give this book a four star, because other than that and some factors I learned about Hana, it was almost the same. I still loved this book though and I can't wait to read Pandemonium! GAHHHHH!
